MP State Dental Council Launches ₹3 Lakh Accident Cover and ₹10 Lakh Professional Indemnity for Dentists

Bhopal (Madhya Pradesh) [India], August 27: In what could mark a significant shift in the way professional bodies support healthcare professionals, the Madhya Pradesh State Dental Council, under the leadership of its President Dr Chandresh Shukla, has introduced a collective security initiative for dentists offering up to ₹3 lakh in accident and disability protection and up to ₹10 lakh in Professional Indemnity Cover.

The initiative reflects Dr Chandresh Shukla’s distinctive approach to professional leadership one that goes beyond conventional regulation and places the security, dignity, welfare and long term professional confidence of dentists at the centre.

For Dr Shukla, the role of a Dental Council should not end with registration, regulation and professional standards. It should also explore how the institution can create meaningful support systems for the professionals who form the backbone of dental healthcare.

This philosophy has now taken concrete shape through two major insurance initiatives and a new digital registration platform.

The first phase of the initiative saw policies distributed to 15 selected dentists, formally beginning what could potentially become a much larger collective security network.
